High Demand

GM technicians are in high demand. Vehicle technology requires highly skilled and experienced technicians to diagnose and repair sophisticated systems using advanced tools and equipment. To be one of the really great technicians, you must acquire the necessary knowledge and skills and apply what you learn in a real world dealership environment. GM ASEP has developed over 17,000 dealership technicians since it started in 1979.

ASEP delivers advanced automotive service training, appropriate academic coursework, and real world internship experiences to give students the best possible preparation for a career as an automotive technician.

Each GM ASEP graduate will earn several hundred hours of Service Technical College (STC) or ACDelco training.

Our relationship with General Motors provides GM ASEP students with training on vehicles with the latest technology both at college and while on their internship.

Learn from the Best

GM requires GM ASEP instructors to have the latest high-tech training available. GM ASEP instructors must be GM trained in the areas they teach. Most are GM Master Certified or GM World Class Certified technicians. GM ASEP colleges are ready to provide the most current training available in the industry.
